Operating overseas bases to support Japanese-owned and local companies

Nikko Shoji has overseas affiliated companies in China (Shenzhen) and Taiwan. These companies supply Japan-made high-end electronic materials such as copper foil and sputtering target materials, new materials, surface treatment agents, chemical products, components, and specialty metal products to Japanese companies in China and Taiwan, as well as to local manufacturers, assisting them in expanding their businesses.
    In addition, we have established coil centers in Shanghai and Malaysia jointly with Nippon Mining & Metals. These centers not only supply customers with the products described above, but also offer quick delivery services (on a par with those in Japan) of Nippon Mining & Metals’ own metal products to locally established Japanese customers and local companies.
    All our overseas bases engage in product development work as well as marketing centered on tailored solution proposals. In these ways, we provide our overseas customers with the same kind of new product development support services available in Japan.

From materials procurement to product recycling

Nikko Shoji’s overseas business bases work in the interests of our Japanese customers, facilitating the import of raw materials from abroad and the export of their products to overseas markets thanks to the Company’s expertise and active support in discovering applications for and cultivating customers for such products.
    Our overseas bases also engage in the recycling of the by-products of our customers’ manufacturing processes, such as leftovers from metal pressing, and slag generated in the refining of rare metals. In this way, we provide a comprehensive range of services that meet all our users’ needs.
